Series AMS – KOMBIALARM

The AMS KOMBIALARM is a self-sufficient warning system with built-in sensor and audio signalling units. It is equipped with a specially designed sensor which enables the system to work as a gas and KO-gas alarm system at the same time.

Depending on the size of the vehicle, the system is prepared to connect to two additional sensor units.
The additional sensors are available in two versions, one for the detection of gas and anesthetic (KO) gases, the other for the detection of carbon monoxide. The additional sensors can be connected to either sensor output 2 or 3.
One additional switching relay allows the connection of remote alarm units (e.g. flashlight).

The AMS KOMBIALARM detects even the smallest concentrations of KO-gas before it is able to display its intoxicating effect on the passengers and disables their ability to react. The threshold for butane, propane and methane lies well below the igniting point (concentration turns volatile) of the gas. Another special feature is the systems relatively low power consumption.
The sensor thresholds setting are fully automated.

Operates with 12 Volt DC current supply.

Accessory Unit: Voltage-Control For 12 Volt DC AMS-SPANNUNGSWÄCHTER UC 12
H/W/D 90x60x31 mm		The voltage-control is designed for the continuous supervision of a 12 Volt constant voltage source. If the voltage falls below a fixed threshold value of 10.2 Volt resp. if there is a manipulation on the board voltage, an optical and at the same time audible alarm is triggered. An integrated 9 V-compound battery has the function to maintain the optical and audible alarm for a period of 1 - 2 days.
Especially in the case of an attack with sleeping gas often the main supply voltage of the home mobile or the holiday flat is switched off. In this way an installed alarm system is set out of operation. The AMS Voltage-Control gives in case of such a manipulation immediately alarm, so that an in this way planned attack with sleeping gas can be prevented.
